Conversation is at the heart of my lessons, even for beginners. I guide you to use French from the start, with support adapted to your level. We work on pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary through what you’re trying to express, so you can speak more clearly and confidently.
As a native French tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching English speakers, I help you understand how French works and put it into practice. Each lesson builds on previous ones, with regular opportunities to reuse what you’ve learned in conversation and writing.
How often should I take lessons to make progress?
One or two lessons per week, combined with regular practice between sessions, can help you make steady progress. We’ll choose a pace that fits your goals, schedule, and budget.
How do online lessons work?
All lessons take place on Google Meet, and we use a shared Google Doc where I conduct the lesson. You’ll have ongoing access to this document to review, study, and complete exercises anytime after class. Once you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the meeting link, plus reminders before each lesson.
What happens during the first lesson?
During your first lesson, we discuss your goals and previous experience with French. Through guided practice, I assess your current level, including pronunciation, and identify what we’ll work on together. You leave with a clear plan for your next steps.
How do I schedule lessons?
Click “View Available Lesson Times” to choose a time for your first lesson. Check the time zone displayed above the calendar and select your local time zone if needed. After your first lesson, we can arrange a regular schedule together.
How much does it cost?
Private one-to-one lessons cost $52 USD for 60 minutes. You can book an individual lesson without purchasing a package.
